The result is a fresh and fragrant white wine with citrus and fruity aromas and delicate floral nuances. It combines the elegant and intense notes of a noble international grape like Chardonnay with the more essential and citrusy profile of Ribolla Gialla, the most widespread native white grape variety in Friuli Venezia Giulia. This wine symbolically represents the synthesis between the local tradition and the centuries-old vocation of these lands to host historic French grape varieties.

Procedure: To obtain this wine the grapes are delicately destemmed and left in maceration for a short period. A history of repeatedly shifted borders, vanished empires, past wars... of people who have settled here. It's the story of a man who lived through two world wars, first in the Austro-Hungarian Empire and then in the young Kingdom of Italy, on the rocky coast of the Istrian peninsula and in the Grado lagoon. Livio Felluga moved to Friuli in the late 1930s, settling on the gentle slopes of the Rosazzo hills. His dream of producing hillside wine was interrupted by his call to the front. As if that weren't enough, returning to Italy wasn't easy for veterans of World War II: the physical, political, and ethnic borders had changed, forever upended, as had the agricultural and social landscape of the hills. The rural population was leaving, further impoverishing the land and abandoning the crops, values, and traditions associated with it. Livio Felluga had to wage a new battle to revive the hill, convinced that only the revival of quality farming could bring life back to the Friulian countryside.With great courage, he began to restore the ancient vineyards of Rosazzo and plant new ones, introducing innovative ideas and methods. This hard work, undertaken with great tenacity and passion, led him over the years to create one of the most beautiful and significant wineries in Italy, earning him the rightful title of refounder of the Friulian winemaking tradition and a key figure in the Italian wine renaissance.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0401/6616/2598/products/SharisBiancoIGT2019VeneziaGiuliaLivioFellug.png?v=1716903371
